The quickest way to miss out on your own blessings is to to focus on someone else’s blessings. Are you seeking Gods plan for your life or someone else’s plan? In the era of social media, it’s easy to be influenced by what other people are doing and where God is taking them. But don’t loose track on where God is taking you! You have your own journey. Just because God did it for them one way does not mean it’s going to happen for you the same way. It’s important that we are seeking Gods plan and not just copying the latest trend. It’s hard to maintain consistency and longevity with something that you were never called to do. It will seem forced as if it’s a burden instead of coming naturally to you. God says “I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.”
The plans God has for you are for you and you alone. There is a reason why your going through what your going through stay focused on his plans for your life do not get side tracked by watching other peoples lives. Are you staying still long enough to seek instruction and direction for your life so you have a clear strategy? To read my blog (“Be still” click here) Or are you jumping ahead of God because you lack patience? A God given strategy is worth more than any man made strategy because then you’ll be the original not the copycat.
Here are three signs to know you are seeking Gods plan and not copying someone else plan:
- You’re not jealous of other people and their success. You know that God has a plan for you. If he can do it for them he will do it for you!
- Surrendered. You’re in constant prayer asking God to reveal his plans for your life and willing to lay down your own.
- You’re not trying to be anyone else but yourself. You understand your power is in your uniqueness. Embrace your different.
Thank You God for Progression,
